Holden

I think that Holden is a very strange person. I think we all have ideas and opinions on everything but it seemed that he only judged people on whether they were 'phony' or not. I believe that Holden is a very strange person, maybe it reflected the author? Why would Salinger be so seclusive after he became a writer? This book is definitely different from anything we've read so far. I think it's fairly interesting, I want to know a little bit more about Holden though. Just like the author, Holden seems to be very secretive himself.

  2. Is he strange or is he so much like everyone else that it scares some people with his level or normalcy? Think about that. . . .

  3. I don't agree... I don't really think that he is that strange, I think he is just like everyone else but he doesn't want to admit it in spite of the fact that he has been rejected by everyone else.

    P.S. Ur a strange person...
